Becoming independent of fossil fuels
Denmark’s ambition to become independent of fossil fuels will only happen when all relevant parties contribute. At EDF Danmark we are ready to support existing and new customers with our innovative and low carbon solutions to reach that goal.

2018 – The expansion continues with the addition of approx. 30,000 lightpoints through maintenance contracts won in Hillerød, Albertslund and Furesø Municipalities.
2017 – The business expands by winning the streetlighting maintenance contract for Frederiksberg Municipality.
2013 – Citelum, part of the EDF group, wins the Copenhagen contract and opens an office in Denmark. The contract includes the renewal of 20,000 luminaires using Smart City technology, and a commitment for at least 12 years to maintain the city’s 45,000 lightpoints.
Our commitment to quality, safety and the environment
We achieved our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications in 2017. Since then we have intensified our commitment and strive to continuously improve the service we provide for our customers – and the value we create for their organisations and the environment.
We pride ourselves on putting the safety of our staff, our subcontractors and members of the public first. Our target is to become ISO 45001 certified in the near future.
